- tip came off on two different plungers Review by David Weaver

I had installed this on my Hoyt Prodigy RX riser as well as my Samick Masters riser. Shooting Carbon One arrows with Bohning shield vanes and the AAE wrap around rest, I discovered that the tips had come off on both risers causing very erratic shots. Fortunately it only happened during practice and not a tournament. I decided to shoot without the tip after adjusting for the lack of the tip, unfortunately that shredded the end of the plunger. It does come with replacement tips, but at this point I cannot trust them. I have gone back to the simpler SF Premium plunger for now, which has just enough depth for the AAE wrap-around rest. For the Samick riser a lot of plungers will work with the wrap-around rest, however the Hoyt Prodigy RX with the VeriTune plate poses a problem as Hoyt doesn't extend the threads all the way to the opposite side of the riser, most plunger have a non-threaded portion that adds too much length for the Prodigy RX with small arrows like the Carbon Ones.
If AAE would make a one-piece plunger then I would be willing to try it again.
