A buddy allowed me to use this on a vintage bear bow. It works like a dream. Had to get one for myself. It also allows relief to keep the reel seat from scratching the riser. I am unsure how long the non-slip rubber straps will last, but if they are stored out of the sun, I expect at least two seasons. This thing is ROCK solid when installed. So far I have only landed a few 20 pounders and smaller. I used it with the new muzzy hd reel. It will accept any screw in (stabilizer) rod seat.
