awesome bow! I ordered this bow, right out of the box at 20 yards it was acurate and powerful. when i got it, the draw weight was at 22 pounds (wich was way to small of a weight for me). so we took it up to the bow shop an had them turn the drew weight up, the maximum weight that they could go to was 25 pounds (still too small). they told us to get the modules and bring them back. we got the modules and gave them to them. they put them on the bow and brought the bow to 30 pounds (still a little too small). we got the hex wrench that came with it and brought it up to 35 pounds. But like i said, great bow!

I have been bow hunting for 20 years. I bought a Barnett vortex for my wife, 19-45# draw weight. I was so impressed with the way this bow shot I bought the vortex hunter for myself. Max draw weight is 62# and using a scale the draw weight was 62.7#. I use carbon express arrows with 100 grain field tips. The bow chrono @ an average of 323 fps at 6yds with a 425 grain arrow. I set the bow up with a Trophy Ridge Drive Bow Sight, single Pin and a Trophy Ridge Full Containment Fall Away Revolution Arrow Rest.
Also installed limb savers and a Radical Archery Super Deuce 38 Peep Sight, 1/4". Also installed a removable quiver. This bow is dead nuts accurate out to 60 yds. The bow is short, which makes it easier to carry. I used the bow for a 3D shoot last week end and received lots of compliments on its accuracy. I cannot wait for big game season to hunt with this magnificent bow! The price is very reasonable for the bow that you receive!

I bought this now the other day for a practice now during off season, IM 19 years old and though it would be a joke to buy, I have a pse dream season dna and pse bow madness xs, this Barnett can compete with my bm, I have the Barnett set with a trophy ridge revolution, dead end string stop(required machining the riser and tapping a hole so be careful) but it works fantastic, has axt extreme archer primal 5+2 pin sights and it sighted pretty well at 80 yards, it had 197 fps at 80 yards so that's enough to kill a deer, I also have a vibracheck complete bow silence kit and its quiet as a mouse, IM gonna hunt with it some this year, it will be with me opening day, nice bow Barnett, make some awesome adult bows? And mine chrono at 317 fps at 3 yards, all I done was set it to 62 pounds with 29.5 draw length and feather Fletched Easton axis 400 27 3/4 in long 100 grain tip, I used my bow press and other tools to take the main string off, stretch it, retwist to a 3.1 twist, yes 3 twists to one inch, now it has 71 pounds at 29 inch draw, really nice small setup by Barnett and well worth 200$

Bought this bow 2 days ago, extremely esay ttune.....paper tuned first shot!!! im small framed so i had to use module B that comes with the package which set my draw length to 26.25, and with the cam n the neuttral position and the limbs torqued to max it set my draw weight at 59 pounds. Curious what it chroned at? 270 FPS wow... not many main line bows thats in the same bow class can compete you just cant bet this bow for the money. the only fault that i have is its a bit loud but keep n mnd i havent dressed this bow out yet, so no noise dampening yet. but then again isnt all twin camed bows a bit loud and with this kind of speed the deers dead before they can hear it anyhow...purchase and have fun
