Great beginner instruction bow. Not a true recurve. Review by Cub Scout Instructor

We bought 6 of these bows for Cub Scout Archery training. We bought this size for the larger guys, and the Crusader Wizard for the smaller guys. This bow fits our needs fairly well. It shoots well enough at our 15 or 30 foot distances. Biggest gripe is that this is listed as a recurve when technically, I believe it's considered a long bow. I was taught that with recurves, the string touches the bow limb. This one doesn't and when unstrung, is perfectly straight. It's nice to be able to store it because of this fact but it is recommended that Cub Scouts are taught on recurves and we bought this believing it was a true recurve bow. Nevertheless, they have lasted 4 weeks of Daycamp over the last 4 years and a couple of extra training sessions with no problems whatsoever. Definitely excellent value and price. Just don't buy it if you must have a recurve.

Nice Review by Shadowfox

Good beginner bow, and very cheap. It is very easy and light to pull, no finger tab needed. What would really make this great would be to paint it black.
It shoots fairly well for a cheap bow, but sometimes the arrows fly sideways, even on a day with absolutely no wind.
For those just trying out archery, this is a nice bow.

Pretty Good Bow Review by Kyla

So far so good. The bow was difficult to string, but easy to pull. I noticed it shoots arrows to the right a bit. The string is tough on the fingers, so do get a finger tab. It would be nice if it was a different color, but overall, it's a pretty good bow.
