not worth it, even if it were free. Review by ParisArms

This target just does not work. It actually ended up costing me money, as I had to reflectch my arrows. I was burying 29" arrows with the occasional pass through. It does not stop arrows only slow them down. While it is less expensive than some of the other, the savings is quickly offset by arrow repair and replacement.

Shooting a 60# Samick Journey.

The block is mounted solidly against a 3/8 plywood backing or the arrows rip out the back of the target very quickly (lesson learned from my last Blackhole). The block was unfortunately made from two pieces and the lower half is now separating from the upper half at the split line. I feel sure this couldn't have happened if the two pieces had been glued together.

The density of this target block was noticeably less than the one that preceded it and it appears that the quality control at Field Logic has slipped as well.

Horrible Target Review by Rick

After shooting maybe around 300 shots with field points and shooting a PSE Drive Lt set at 55 lbs, had full pass through. Almost every shot is buried to the knock, now I just have a bunch of arrows with destroyed fletchings. No way would ever stand up to a broadhead.

I had one of the original Black hole targets and after 5 years it's finally time to buy another one. Give you 3 guesses but, you'll only need 1 to figure out what target I'm going to get as a replacement! These are awesome. Paid $100 for one of the first Black Hole targets in 2007. 5 years later arrows are just starting to penetrate a little farther than I'd like.
