This hot melt works as advertised.

I still had to use it over a stove to melt it but I let it cool for a bit before using it. It didn't seem to damage my carbon arrows.

It is removable in hot water. I had to change the points once and it worked.

It isn't as strong though, (but this could be a good thing) once my arrow hit the wood in the frame and the point was stuck after pulling it out, the arrow shaft wasn't damaged and still usable. Another club mate of mine was stuck in the frame at the same time and his hot-melt couldn't keep it in shaft either but I think his arrow was cracked. So it could have been a good thing that this hot melt gave way or else my arrow could have been damaged trying to pull it out.
