Shooting heavy field points into a bag target and this adhesive did not work for this application. Lost multiple inserts so reverted back to Tip Grip.

One of the greatest products ever! Review by Jason

I really love this product! I've been using it for 2 years on my Platinum Plus 2013 arrows and I have not lost one point! Indoor they work great, outdoor they work great as well. I was at an outdoor tournament and one of my arrows hit the wood frame of the target stand and the arrow tip was still rock solid in the shaft. Over all I recommend this product for anyone looking for a low price good built product. Just make sure you clean the arrow and the tip, as well as using sand paper to scratch the tip to make the tip stick better in the shaft.

It does the trick Review by Tooler

I'm arrow tuning, this hot melt holds the insert and screw in tips good enough to for arrow tuning, It is not a permanent glue, so far it's doing the trick for me, and would buy another stick if needed a light adhesion glue.

good adhesion, easy to use. I use on woodies also. Like any product proper cleaning of the shaft interior prior to installing inserts is the key. I carry a small section in my hunting gear for field repair.

You can't beat this adhesive. It's easy to use, holds like a rock on carbon arrows, and cheap as dirt. GET SOME!

never a problem Review by Robert Wright

Here in N.W. Illinois we have at least 6 bow shops and about 13 clubs which include 4 in southern Wisconsin. All clubs combined compete in MAC's and a slew of NFAA and FITA matches. So shooting is very extensive. 4 shops that I've been to use blue cold melt in making customer arrows. Myself, I've used in all my NFAA arrows X27's Super Drive290 and 30X Pro's. FITA Series 22's and V1 VAP's for field. Not once have I ever lost a tip. I shoot all year long 1000's of arrows.

My point is that never had a problem with keeping points, bushings and pin bushings in solid. And they remove easily too without causing the inner core of the carbon unraveling like I've experienced with 2 others brands.

Weak at holding in points and pin adapters Review by Jeffry Garew

I've decided to give the blue stick a try. I am very disappointed with it. So far I have lost 5 points in the past month. Another thing that bothers me is that when I need to pull a nock off a pin, the pin usually comes out of the shaft at least half the time. It back to the amber hot melt for me. With this blue stuff, you might as well be using wax from crayons.

Works as advertised. Review by Nicodemus Chan

This hot melt works as advertised.

I still had to use it over a stove to melt it but I let it cool for a bit before using it. It didn't seem to damage my carbon arrows.

It is removable in hot water. I had to change the points once and it worked.

It isn't as strong though, (but this could be a good thing) once my arrow hit the wood in the frame and the point was stuck after pulling it out, the arrow shaft wasn't damaged and still usable. Another club mate of mine was stuck in the frame at the same time and his hot-melt couldn't keep it in shaft either but I think his arrow was cracked. So it could have been a good thing that this hot melt gave way or else my arrow could have been damaged trying to pull it out.
