Great bow to start off with. Great for beginning your newly found archery obsession w/o spending too much cash. Shoots well, string breaks down easy so get an extra or two. Better to get some different arrows. Not recommended for intermediate or expert shooters.

I think this bow is great for hunting small game and will satisfy your hunger games need. The string on the bow looks nothing like Katniss's string, instead of being black or brown it has yellow and brown stripes. The price is great for the bow but if you are looking for more than 3 arrows you should try to find arrows from a different place. This bow is great for beginners and has a great snap to it when you shoot it. It is also great for shooting in your backyard. I think that everyone should get this bow if they have a chance.

This bow is more than amazing! Its good for a small game, the arrows are nice looking too! This District Primitive Longbow Set is the perfect bow and arrows i have ever had! I really recommend this bow and arrow.Plus it looks like Katniss bow in the hunger games before the reaping.Where her dad made her the bow before he died! Thanks Lancaster Archery!Like I said I recommend this set.

I have loved the idea of owning a bow and arrows and I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!
Ever since the H.G. has been out I have been even more in love with the idea. SO when I went online only to see the District Primitive Longbow set I was so estatic to tell my parents I had finally made up my mind on the bow and arrows I wanted and also lessons! Just from looking at it from online it looks phenomenal! Katniss inspired me even more to be an archer. I've always dreamed of owning a bow and arrows set like this and now I can!

This bow is absolutely great for beginners. It has a nice snap to it when you shoot it. Lancaster Archery did an excellent job of designing this bow. It is an excellent bow and recommend it to everyone!

Great for anyone starting archery. The price is great and the bow withstands use.
I've run at least 100 arrows through it since my purchaes at the beginning of the month.
Accuracy is good but I highly reccommend buying some better cheap arrows than the 3 that comes with the bow. Try aluminum arrows with a nice target/field tip.
This is a good bow for small game or just practicing in the backyard.
I never shot a long bow and I am use to recurve but after shooting the district bow I plan on purchasing a higher grade duplicate at 45lbs for bigger game.

This bow is actually pretty amazing. It has a snap and power that makes up for its lack of beauty. I have 8 or 9 bows in the house but this one very quickly became my favorite!

this bow worked great ther first time i used it , lancaster did a great job combing the beauty of a primitive bow with the precicion of a modern one.not expecting much with the with it looking so old i was surprised when i was able to hit the target every time.
