Nice case, but needs some improvement. Review by Catharine Tarquinio

I purchased this case because I'm going to be traveling to a tournament across the US in California. I had just purchased a new bow setup, and figured I'd need a good, strong case to get it there in one piece (I've been flying before, and the airlines are not gentle with anyone's luggage).

When I got it, I was very happy with the design, although I was saddened to find there weren't any pockets to actually hold the pieces of the bow. All of the pockets are too small, and probably meant for your accessories. If this is a two-bow case, I'm wondering if they expect me to keep my limbs and riser in their sleeves. There's nothing in there to really keep them from bouncing around, so I'll be purchasing some foam to help keep everything in place. Minus one star.

Another thing I noticed is, unless you have some decent weight in the base of the case, or something propping it up (like a chair), it tends to fall over when the lid is left open. I was also upset to find that the outer shell scratches very easily. I didn't have room in my passenger seat, so I ended up putting it in the bed of my truck and strapping it down. Even though I was trying to be careful, the outside shell still took some minor scratches to the front and sides. This will definitely be a problem when I need to travel. Maybe I can cover it with the included rain cover to help prevent it from getting scratched up? Minus one star.

I did like the fact it had foam inserts in the back for my arrows and stabilizers. One problem: it's not attached to the lid of the case, so it falls out. No worries, nothing some double-sided velcro can't fix. And I really did like the way the interior was done, I was just disappointed they didn't make pockets for my limbs and riser. You'd think that would be common sense.

Overall, I was semi-happy. I feel like I spent a little too much on a case that gets easily scratched and has less-than-optimal insides, but eh, it is what it is.

Constructed of cheap ABS Plastic. Was purchased by my Grand Daughter for the 2011 Pan American Games. The cased did not survive the first trip to Guadalajara without severe damage by airline handlers.
ABS outer shell shattered, contents sustained minimal damage.
Is there any type of warranty on this product?
