Just for learning Review by Alberto Pereyra

First of all, it rattles a lot, if you don't tighten the aperture screw once every several shots it will fall down.
The one I have has the elevation screw messed up since the beginning in order to change distance I had to move the full thing.
However it's in a great price if you buy it and take good care of it it will last at least 5 years.
It's great also for beginners to learn how to use a competition sight it pulls out the job.
But for more serious competition you will have to upgrade to a better sight, as someone noticed in other review, you get what you pay for.

not thrilled Review by Jim Southworth

I am new to archery, and this is the sight I selected based on ratings. However, I agree with much of what I have read in the other reviews. it rattles. the screws do not hold the settings in place. the aperture turns on me no matter how tight I put the screws to it. I would pick another if I was starting from scratch. I will replace this soon.

Save Your Money Review by Melanie Carroll

My daughter was very disappointed in this sight. She tried to make it work for 3 or 4 months before she threw in the towel. The aperture split where it is supposed to screw on right out of the box. There are also problems keeping the sight screwed on tightly to the riser. I really wish I had put this money toward a better sight right from the start.

I've had this sight for 8-9 months. It does it's job, but it has several limitations. The thing rattles, so you need to tighten the screws every few ends. A couple months after buying it the aperture broke. Managed to glue it together and it's still working. Today, the elevation adjustment failed me during a shoot. The plastic screwhead broke and didn't turn the metal screw. I guess I'll glue it together for now, but I'm looking at higher end sights to replace this one. It did its job as a learning tool, but I'll probably retire it soon.

Decent and great for beginners / starting out / low budgets :) Review by ceciliaflaming

Started out with this sight for my recurve and was pretty impressed. Great price for a starter sight, nothing fancy or high quality, but it's still in great condition and hasn't broken after 2+ years. Great for beginners or anyone to start using a moveable sight without having to break the bank.

Working great Review by Kevin

I've had this site for about 9 months and it works great for my use. It stays tight, seems light enough, has held up (I've dropped my bow twice due to forgetting to put my finger sling on my thumb...oops) and I can adjust it in anyway I need to. Not being a professional shooter, I don't find it worth paying more to make the adjustments faster.

Ditto...replace the sight Review by lostgoth

Good value for the money. The sight is OK but will break when dropped. I was able to glue it back for awhile but you shouldn't be dropping your bow. I replaced the sight with the Shibuya and have no complaints.

Not worth you money Review by Rex

My first impression was the lack of quality of the aperture which others have addressed. But then when I tried to mount it to my riser the elevation scale wasn't in line with the riser and instead was tilted or cantered to the right. I took it to my local shop and they verified that I had installed everything correct and stated that they had never seen an out of the box sight line up like this. On closer inspection we observed that the mounting bracket was milled way too large for the extension bar which added excessive slop when mounting the extension bar. However, the fatal flaw appeared to be that the hole for the mounting knob was drilled off center in the mount which caused the tilt to the elevation scale.
Bottom line, don't waste your time or money on this sight!

Excellent sight but replace the plastic aperture with a metal one as the stock one is easily broken

Great bang for the buck! Review by Dave W.

Great sight In my opinion. My only complaint is with the sight aperture, broke off kinda easy, other than I am happy with it. Its easy to adjust for elevation and windage. Yes there are plastic adjustment parts on it, however if you take care(don't leave the lock screws on and try to adjust it) this will be a great sight for any beginner/intermediate archer.

You get what you pay for... Review by Jeff Rexford

The price is cheap, but the quality reflects it. There are some plastic components that are used as the adjustment parts of the site, not just the filler parts. There is quite a bit of play in the movement and adjustment parts, that will make setting consistency and reproducibility almost impossible for this site. The fit and form just isn't there.

If you can afford a better quality site, spend the money. I would think that anyone that buys this site will end up replacing it with something better.

Excellent starter (and then some) sight Review by Marcus

We started out with a Cartel sight lent to us by our club and the aperture would constantly fall off. That can't happen to this one. Spend the extra twenty bucks and get this one. Recommended by our club and it has not disappointed. It will be awhile before we spend more on a bow sight.
