good concept but way to wobbley. Review by pabowman1

After putting together the unit I found that the tubing is way undersized & twisted and you must literally stand on the legs to draw a 55 pound bow. After calling the manufacturer he discovered that the bolts for the upright piece were in the wrong place and agreed to send me a new piece. I considered building a base and bolting the stand to it so at least it would set on the floor level but am going to try to return it for a full refund. also when mounted to the stand the Bow Winch has so much play you not only must stand on the legs but also must hold the winch unit in place when trying to draw a bow. I would recommend mounting the winch to a bench and forgetting the stand completely.

Ok for BASIC bow tuning Review by Archery Nut

I bought the draw board with stand for my shop to expand my services. I have experience both good and not so good attribute for this product.

The good: I have found it very useful to check cam timing on various bows, check the draw length to set to spec, and to measure arrows for cutting without the client having to draw the bow and me mark the shaft. I have also found it useful to "rough" paper tune for the client without having them there for the initial set up. Once the bow is timed and paper tuned for the set draw length and arrow choice I am able to work with my client to tune the bow to their best form. This allows me to diagnose issues with their form. It is not too bulky and does not take up allot of space.

The not so good: The stand is not perfect squared and does not sit on the floor flat, therefore it requires shimming to level the base. I also find its rigidity to be lacking somewhat. If you place a 70 lb bow and draw it back then take a string and align it with the main support of the draw board there is a significant amount of flex when the bow is at full draw. Also, this product is advertised to be great for third axis leveling at full draw. I would NOT suggest this product for third axis leveling for the following reasons. First, the rigidity of the center support for the stand is lacking causing the stand to lean in towards the bow when the bow is on the machine. Combined with the unleveled nature of the stand base this is even further exacerbated. This is also considering I placed 25 pound plate weights on the base to keep it from moving along with shimming. Second, when at full draw there is no support to keep the bow at a precise perpendicular angle to the ground. I had to make extensive modifications to by adding a brace structure to be able to properly set third axis at full draw. Third, the preset positions for a 45 degree incline and decline are not a perfect 45 degrees. I had to add a clamping system to achieve a closer 45 degree angle and have the ability to check at steeper angles.

Overall I think it is useful for BASIC bow tuning needs but would not suggest it for precision application like third axis leveling.

It ain't straight! Review by Pappy40

The bottom square tube that hold the winch on mine is about 10 degrees out of line. It should be a straight line from the center of the bottom to the top end that holds the bow. Mine is welded off to one side. It doesn't affect performance but for this much money it should be damn near perfect!

Awesome product and great price Review by Travis Thompson

This thing makes setting up bows so easy. It can do so many different functions! you can check precise timing of the cams. you can measure your draw length exactly. Mark arrow length to be cut. Balance your bow while its at full draw the bow is allowed to tip to one side or the other heavy side. This shows you which side needs more weight added. This is a great tool to have in your home shop or pro shop.

This is a must have product for anyone setting up bows. I seriously just used it to change my string on my hunting rig tonight. It is not only good for timing your bow, but setting DL, checking timing on your rest. I use it on every bow that comes in! Hammer Hanger products are top of the line and have never let me down. Quality as well as practical!!!
