Would have liked more. Review by Angus Moss

This is a really good test don’t get me wrong, I just think that there could have been more steps taken to make it better and that it was alittle rushed. I pre-ordered this rest and when I got it I enjoyed setting it up but I immediately recognized some issues. From an engineering stand point the spring was genius but the cable I strongly disagree with. I think it was used to give the rest a flashier look that doesn’t REALLY serve any purpose except for an accedent waiting to happen. If you want opptimum performance and 0% liability then I suggest doing away with the “easy adjust cord clamp” and just tie it to the spring just as you would for a sting loop then run cable or limb driven. Speaking of limb driven the “non-slip limb pad” it awful while setting this rest up one of the worlds top female archers top me she GLUES it to here limb. I don’t know about you but that’s not a commitment I want to force my limb into. If you don’t have a split limb with the bracket system that adapts to it then I strongly suggest running the rest off of the cable. running cable driven gave me 2 extra FPS anyways due to the shorter rest-to-arrow contact time provided from the cable. And last but defiantly most important, I don’t know why but this rest angles off the the left while fully installed. I think that they could have made that twice as good by making this rest just as like they do sights. there needs to be a way to adjust multiple different axis on rests. If you shoot a drop away then that extra “ride time” on a permanatly out of tune rest will cause unnessisary left and right angled tears that will be a nightmare to correct and long range fish tales that will ultimately effect accuracy. So while i really enjoy hamskea products I think this rest was rushed and could have been far better quality.

Check the Torsen Screws Review by Brian Mailliard

I received this rest about a week ago. When I went to adjust the tension spring on the blade because I was noticing inconsistent lift I discovered that a screw was missing and the remaining one was loose. After increasing the tension spring knob I fastened down the screw, but with only one screw the assembly binds, which is why it was mostly working before with the screw loose. Either my rest was shipped without the screw installed or after a week of casual shooting they are vibrating out. I did not receive a resolution after contacting Hamskea so went ahead and ordered 50 screws from McMaster Carr to fix this and have spares. They are 4-40 thread size per Hamskea and 5/16" long.

Disappointed at the first need for service Review by Joseph

New (again) archer, never installed a rest before. Not that this was difficult but I must say that the instructions seem to assume prior experience with installing the actuation cords. And there is no video available yet. In any case I inadvertently cut the cord short and needed a replacement. Was shocked that Hamskea didn't offer to send me another one free of charge - really, had the instructions been more complete or a video available, the process would have been much clearer. C'mon man it's a few feet of BCY 23 valuing a couple dollars that came with a $200 rest.

Otherwise very happy in all aspects of the product itself.

Amazing Review by Ryan Eberly

Expensive, but worth it. Setup was so easy, tuning is a breeze. If you're using fat arrows, the Gflex launcher blade might be challenging. A slight breeze can definitely dislodge a 6mm arrow. Comes with the territory.
