- Nice Design but Poorly Manufactured Review by Cassidy Allen
Quality Price Value
Purchased this in summer of 2016. Works very well, probably not as solid as a Selway's rubber foot on the limb but still very good. Used it about 10 times and then a few days ago I was unstringing a Bear recurve and the lower limb pocket just detached from the strap out of nowhere. I was really shocked. I inspected the limb pocket and there was just one line of what looked like average thread on either side that was just hanging loosely. I have no idea what exactly happened but no bow stringer should ever fail like that. The manufacturer needs to upgrade the thread used and practice better quality control. Many thanks to Lancaster for issuing a refund with no hassle. I'm now ordering a Selway Limbsaver instead.

- Very good product, easy to use Review by Wood Butcher

This stringer is, in my opinion, a great design. Since it is webbed as opposed to string it can't tangle and is easy to handle and mount. the webbing also makes it easy to use since it provides a wide surface against your foot (you can even use it barefoot). Folds/rolls up for easy storage and use (again, no tangles/knots). The leather pad grips the bow well and stays in place. I'll be curious to see how the leather pad holds up since it is thin, but it should still provide plenty of service life.
