Great New Bow from Mathews Review by JC

This bow has a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing design. The fit and finish on the lost camo version are impeccable. With 60# limbs, the draw cycle is smooth all the way through. My only complaint, a minor one, is that the valley is rather short, albeit not as short as for he Helim. Although only 30" ATA, the Creed feels like a much longer-riser bow. I've shot every new flagship bow offered by Mathews, Bowtech, and Hoyt over the past 7 years. I have to admit that the Drenalin is still my favorite compound bow of all time. However, if you're in the market for a new hunting bow, the Creed is without question the best of the best.

Best Mathews Bow Ever!! Review by Stormin Norman

I own the original switchback and DXT, have always been a Mathews solocam fan. I went to Lancaster Archery Supply to shoot the Creed and the Hoyt Carbon Element G3. Both are great bows, but I found the draw a bit smoother on the Mathews and the hand vibration was almost non existent. The draw is not quite as smooth as the switchback but its close, where the creed excels is accuracy and quietness. I am shooting much tighter groups then I ever have before, part of that credit goes to the amazing staff at LAS, but give credit to Mathews for bringing there A game on the creed. IMO this is the first Mathews worth upgrading to since the switchback I didn't dislike the DXT, but I have always preferred my switchback. I will be taking my creed into the field this year and leaving the switchback at home. Kudos to LAS for probably being the only bow shop in the US that has left handed demos, it was nice to finally be able shoot a bow before I purchased it.

I swore off Mathews bows had the XT and a few after that and had problems with every one after the XT but shot the Creed at my dealers and it to me was better than the XT it came home with me and is driving tacks at 50 yards wish I had the cash to go on a nice hunt some where other than PA but with three kids that won't happen.

Outstanding shooter! Balanced perfectly, quietest bow I have ever shot. Nice short valley and solid wall, the draw stop is perfect. The thing that impressed me more than the draw cycle was the fact that there is barely any vibration. Idler wheel and cam was in perfect line straight out of the box and timing marks were dead on, no adjustment needed. Well done Mathews.

Smoothest, quietest bow I have ever shot. I tried every bow from all companies but none in my opinion come close to the true archer experience that this Creed delivers.

I have owned a number of Mathews Bows over the years. This bow, in my opinion, is by far the best bow Mathews has put out. Extremely smooth, easy to draw, quiet and fast. Well worth every penny.
