- They work Review by Warren G

Shooting a 60" ILF recurve, 17" riser, 46# at 30", these rubberized string groove extenders do quiet things down. I have no idea about any gain in arrow speed but I suppose a more abrupt arrow release from the string might do that though added mass on the limb would slow it down. I did not notice anything w/o a chrono.I have one gripe and that is that the installation instructions are vague. A simple picture showing the Remedy in place from the side would be perfect. At first I placed them too far down the limb (not by much) and thought the product was just a gimmick. I pulled them off and placed them nearer the tips with the end servings essentially in the grooves, level with the top when viewed from the side. At rest the string floats in the groove. Maybe that was obvious but it wasn't to me. Worked better. As far as using a stringer, no problem at all. While you have some tension on the stringer just use your free hand to be sure string is in the groove. Once on they are very tidy.

- Must be careful with this.... Review by Joshua Wang

Its not easy to put on your strings safely with this on your bow.. if you didnt check and the string is off the center of the dampener, as you release the tension from the stringer, your string will pull off your bow and the limbs will smack on the floor and your toes!
The 5 fps gain is not worth the extra worry, danger and effort to check while the string is slowly being tensioned into the groove.
