I usually do not do reviews. Nor do I put credence in one. ---- Most of biased, (because they bought the product already), or have an ax to grind, many times not the fault of the product, but due to the buyer's / user's inexperience with the product. --- I have owned 8 crossbows, so I feel competent to have an opinion. ----- Long story short, the Parker Blackhawk-Thunderhawk-Tomahawk (all the same bow with different clothes on), is an AWESOME bow. After many hours spent on youtube, at dealers, and speaking with "experts", I decided to give the Parker brand a shot. ----- Wow, am I IMPRESSED!----I bought the Blackhawk model, simply because I like the tactical appearance. ----Took about 20 minutes to assemble it, had the best instructions I have ever had with a bow, not written in "Japlish, or Chinish"---are actually in Virginia based ENGLISH. --- Good pictures too. ------Packed up, and went to shoot. --- Started at 30 measured yards, (Nikon rangefinder), ---factory bore sight was about 6" low, and 4 inches to the right at 30 yds. --- About 6 shots later, dead on every time. ----Went to 40 yds, dropped down a line on the scope---bulls eye, everytime-, (using 30 yd. zero)----50 yds, 2 lines down, bulls eye, everytime. ----50 yds., went to 3rd line down, same story, ---and lastly 60 yards, used bottom line, about 2" high, everytime. --- So zero your scope at 30 yards, and you'll be good all the way to 60 yds., (4th, and last line on the factory scope.) ---- I will be the first to admit that the Blackhawk isn't impressive looking, and it is so light, (about 6 lbs) that it even feels 'cheap'--- Looks like a Kia, drives like a BMW. ---- Shoots like a Mercedes. ---- Thank you Parker!-
