- Hoyt who? Review by ArcherJenn
Quality Price Value
I have been shooting a formula ionX for over 6 months with formula 720 limbs; I have had mediocre success. Within 24hrs of receiving my new PSE I was able to easily tune my arrows and shoot two high scores. Lest week I was shooting 266 +- 3 points. Last night I shot 288 and 285 on my back yard bale in the dark.
I'm not missing my ion yet!

- World Class Review by James Gill
Quality Price Value
I shot for 15 years at the Provincial and National level. After a long break, I needed a new bow. I could have bought any riser but went with the PSE after trying one at my local pro shop. I went with X Pression limbs, 46 lbs. The grip is very comfortable, although I sanded it down in the throat to make it a bit narrower. It is really smooth, and really quiet. I would say it is also a fairly forgiving riser. I think that this riser is a world class piece of equipment at a really good price.

- Love the X-appeal Review by vtnam007

Its unfortunate that PSE only currently offer one recurve riser, but it is fortunate they spent alot of time getting it perfect. This is my "go to riser". I bought it for indoor shooting at 18m with Uukha EX1, but I slowly got addicted to the sound and feel of this thing. Now I shoot this riser with the same limbs at 70m and can't be more happier. My outdoor winex set-up stays in the bag, this is the riser for me. Tuning was the most simple process ever and the wooden handle is top notch. Be careful and use loctite on all those set-screws. They do come loose quite often. If you can get over the price, buy this riser.
My set up:
PSE 25" X-appeal black riser 9.22" BH
Uukha EX1 38" long
ACE 520 29" arrows
16 strand 8125 BCY string.

The X-Appeal is far the best riser on the market. I have shot and own the best of Hoyt, Win WIN, and Samick.
