Great Performance! Review by Sherpa

After hunting with expandables for the past three years I have settled on the 2 blade Rage. I have successfully used the NAP Spitfire, G5 T-3, as well as the 3 blade Rage broadhead. I found the Spitfire to perform well strictly on broadside shots. The T-3 performed as advertised, just not as large of a wound channel as the Rage broadheads. I have not lost a deer to a Rage broadhead to date (5 deer total). I have not had a deer travel farther than 50 yards with the 2 blade model. No creature can travel far with a 2" gash through it! I love the field point accuracy delivered by all of these broadheads, and cannot imagine why there are still some states that don't allow them.

I use these a lot since they can out (currently use the ulmers edge) really good broadhead to me gaping exit wounds big blood trails flys like a field point the ulmers edge and rage are almost alike just the rage leaves bigger wound channels..... And to eg bow hunter that's why they make a practice head maybe u should go back to fixed blade

First off, it's frustrating reading negative reviews of this great product. Yes, I understand each person has different, needs, expectations and experiences. I get it. For those who don't like the performance of this product, my advice is take a look in the mirror and ask how good of a bow hunter (bow shot) are you? Let's be real, a well placed shot with any broadhead will get the job done. For those of you that can't find the deer you shot? Well maybe you need a lesson on tracking deer. Archery shots typically don't "drop" the animal like a rifle. Lock it down!!! Become a better shot & woodsman! You'll have more fun & it will be very hard to write a bad review!

As for the RAGE broad head. I like it so much I named my dog rage. I've shot 7 deer and a bear with the Rage 2 blade. Not all the shots were perfect. Not all shots were pass thru shots but I've never lost an animal. Blood trails have been awesome & I've reused many heads for multiple hunts.

Keep em coming RAGE!!!

I've been shooting these heads for 3 years now and rarely do deer go 100 yards! Huge, Gaping wound channels on both sides! Massive blood trails. I've gotten my buddies and close hunting partners to switch and they love em'!! I'm truly impressed with these heads and would highly highly recommend these for anyone thats shooting anything else!!!

This past year I switched over to thunderheads, and lost a 146" buck on a bad shot...I previously shot rage, and hit around the same area and the deer died within 40 or 50 yards. I will never switch to anything else except maybe the T3 to try em...but other than that, a Rage will always be in the cage for me!

Poor performance Review by swamptrekker

Do not use on any shot other than broadside! Have had bad experiences on 2 quartering away shots of not penetrating ribcage. First opened a 11" gash on side of deer that bled all night so I could follow and kill next day with other arrow. Just few days ago, watched my arrow deflect of last couple ribs and lodge itself in the snow. NO pentration past head and 3 handfulls of hair- virtually no blood. First experience was broadside and that performed fine. Shoot Mathews Monster MR6 bow with 72ft# kinetic energy. So, not too slow. Will not use agin.

I have taken two deer this year with the rage 100 grain 2 blade. Great blood trail and both passed thru with large entry and exit wounds. Both deer fell within 50 yards. My buddy said, " look at the large entry/exit wounds" and asked what broadhead I was shooting because he had never seen wounds that large before. You will not get that with any other broadhead on the market today.

I like them Review by Lcube50

I've shot the 2 blade, 3 blade and accidently shoot the 2 blade 40. I have shot them out of a 70 pound solocam with speed of about 285 FPS and an advanced dual cam with speed of 300 FPS. They performed great in broad side, quartering toward and away shots. I passed through a shoulder shot just above the bone. (My sight pin was slightly bent) I have yet to have a malfunction with the rage series. I have never had a fixed or mechanical blade that I would re-use after a kill shot only because the micro damage to blades and arrow is not worth the safety factor.

I have not lost a single deer with the 2 blade rage broadhead. It flies like a field tip and makes very large wound channels. As with any broad head though you want to make sure of the point of entry !

I have been shooting the rage broad heads for 3 years. I have used them on bear, dear, and turkey. I have had no issues with them like others have. You can't shoot the game you are after in the sholder, you have to aim for the heart and lung area. Good blood trails and tracking is short. Blades are replacable and that is a plus.

Disposable broadheads Review by Tola

Shot the original rocky mtn. snyper version years ago and then these. They fly like target points and I killed a few deer with them but minimal to average bloodtrail and if they pass through and go into ground consider that broadhead garbage because the aluminum tip bends very easily. There are better more durable broadheads out there but it seems with archery products whoever does the most advertising wins the audience because most of us are have the herd mentality. Remember, the "pros" don't pay for their product. Going back to my wasp fixed blades, 6 for the price of 3 rage and blades are cheap.

Huge entry wounds and great blood trail.
I was very impressed.
I used them the last 2 years.
Practice tip is included in the package so don't do what the last reviewer did and shoot the hunting blade at the target, then complain about the result and say they are garbage. Thats my 10 cents!

These broadheads are garbage!!! Review by EG Bow Hunter

I recently purchased these broadheads from Bass Pro and out of the box the blades were incredebly dull. Deffinatly not razors. Also when i was shooting these at my target it found it impossible to remove them un harmed. They were un-shootable. Two of the blades were bent the other was completly broken off! The sad thing is that the blades were not even replaceable because the blade housing was completly beant in! Save your money these blades DO NOT do what they are advertised to do! All in all they are not worth 10 cents.
