I love this bow Review by Carli Ferrari

I am a beginner on a budget. This is my second bow- my other bow is a vintage Ben Pearson Silver Sovereign Marauder with a 44 pound draw. I am not strong enough to shoot it yet, so I wanted to get something inexpensive and of good quality with a lighter draw. This bow exceeded my expectations! Word of caution, though... The string issue seems to be common... I bought a new string from my local supply store because the one that comes with this is not very good. It was already frayed in some areas, and I didn't trust it enough to even try shooting with it.

Really great bow for the price. I wanted to get myself back into archery but as a college student I'm on a tight budget. This bow fit the bill. Consistent shot and the 35# makes it the right poundage to draw over and over all day with out getting tired.

My first recurve bow. Review by Snow Leopard

I pull to 27", so I'm probably pulling a little more than the 36 lbs stated on the limbs. Feels great in my hands and very light. Good bow for a woman with not as much upper body strength as a guy. Very accurate. Pleasing to shoot. I outfitted it with an aperture and bristle arrow rest and works great. Allows me to shoot the same arrows that I use for the compound.

I bought this bow for bow fishing. I am very impressed with it's quality, speed and accuracy. I have been shooting Ben Pearson recurves for many years. This bow has proven to be a great surprise, especially for the price. I bought the 35lb version but I draw approx. 30" so I'm pulling close to 41lbs. Plenty of power, good fit and finish.

I bought this bow primarily for bow fishing. I bought the 35lb limbs, I draw 30" so I'm pulling closer to 41lbs at full draw. I am very impressed with the quality, speed and accuracy. I have been shooting a Ben Pearson for 10+ years (and PSE compounds) and this Samick Polaris is an incredible value.
I highly recommend the Samick Polaris!

Had trouble with the rest when I first got it, but a little tweeking got it up and shooting great! Consistently shoots arrows within 1/2 inch of each other... Last shoot put 6 arrows in the gold. Thirty pound draw is OK for an old man getting back into archery after 40 years... great for targets...

Excellent First Bow Review by Mike C.

This is the first bow I ever bought and I really love it! I bought the same for my young daughter and she loves hers too.

I started with 29lbs limbs and then moved up to 40lb a few months later. Right out of the box this bow felt great in my hands, and shoots wonderfully. Currently I'm only target shooting (bare bow without a sight) but feel very confident with this bow in my hands that at age 45 shooting bare bow with my Samick Polaris that I could compete and shoot respectable scores. My only regret towards this particular bow is that the 40lb limbs are the max that will fit this riser. Eventually I'll give bow hunting a try and will move up to a 55lb bow.

An awesome bow for this price.
