Would never trade it for a different bow Review by Astaroth

I made the decision to purchase this bow based on a combination of the unbeatable price, its simplistic design, its size (I could never use an English longbow despite my heritage thanks to being small enough to use youth bows), a desire to eventually try horseback archery, and the fact that it came available in #55 draw weight. I wouldn't suggest other beginners jump up to that draw weight without practicing on a lighter bow, but this bow is truly perfect, whether at a lighter draw weight for beginners or at a higher draw weight for competitive archers and hunters. Firing this bow is how I always dreamed archery would be, and maintaining a consistent draw and release is surprisingly easy even though the bow has no arrow rest or in fact any kind of accessories. When I hit the target, it's all me, and that feels unbelievably good. I knock off points on the quality because Samick's logo kind of ruins the look of the bow, which is otherwise quite stunning. No wonder the prop crew on Mockingjay spray painted the entire thing black, hiding the gorgeous wood grain of the bow's center. I particularly love how light it is, which makes it super easy to get out to the range and actually practice. I can't wait to start practicing Russian speed archery on it.

Very Good Bow, Very Smooth Draw Review by Aragorn66

I found the that the bow has a very smooth draw all the way up 31". The release(Mediterranean style) was very nice with very little hand shock. My bow was received in good condition. In the box was a string and a rubber handle to make the mid riser more hand friendly. I would recommend that you put some sort of protection on the riser where the arrow will rest as it can rub the finish a bit. All things considered, I would have no hesitation in recommending this bow to family and friends.

I have had this bow for almost a year now at 45#. I've used it in multiple mounted archery competitions and a couple ground 3D archery shoots. You definitely he quality for the price. The look is great, it is easy to maneuver, and fun to shoot off a horse. Highly recommending

Not so great Review by Megan

First off, I got this bow because it looks very traditional and that was something I was looking for. I received it a few days after the order shipped and I pulled it out only to notice it doesn't look like the picture. There is a big ugly slogan round the top of the limb that isn't shown in the picture; also there were scratch marks all over the top and bottom of the limbs. The grip isn't bright tan like the picture either, just less gray than the rest of the bow. I strung it to see how it drew and it drew smooth as silk. Nothing wrong with it other than the appearance.

Very good value Review by DJax

The bow shoots well, and has a good price. The handle is a little cumbersome to get to stay on, and can't Brace height range anywhere. Over all a good bow.
