Solid release! Review by Ethan

This release comes without any instructions what so ever. But with little research and experience with hinge releases you should have no problem. Obviously the best thing about this release is Scott's phenomenal warranty and the fact it is made in the U.S.A. The release being made out of brass is absolutely solid. Having shot other aluminum releases I will never shoot anything but a brass t handle. After shooting the longhorn pro advantage, other aluminum t handles will feel like cheap plastic. This release has a smooth rounded finger bed. It can be slightly slippery with oily or sweaty hands. Those issues can be fixed by simply washing your hands. If you find yourself sweating excessively you may consider wrapping some sort of athletic cloth like tape around the finger grooves. Adjusting the moon on this release is quite easy although the moon does have a tad bit of play in it. I found myself adjusting the moon to where I wanted it and then tightening the screw to lock it in place. I've found when I do this the moon wants to slightly creep forward, it's easy to compensate for though, so no worries. Understandably this release being made completely out of solid brass will get dinged up a little bit after some wear(dropping it, etc.) and the brass's astounding shine will dull over heavy usage. But Scott has got that all covered in their warranty.

I would like to recant my first review although this release is not Micro adjustable and does not come with instructions I think that after shooting this release I have found out this release is just as good or maybe better than the HTPro only because I think it fits my hand better also I do like the rubber band that reloads the release and The clicker

This release I would rate about average only because it is not micro adjustable also it does not come with any instructions which I believe that every manufacture should put instructions in with their product
