Good rest but needs instructions Review by newarcher

This is more helpful instructions than review which will hopefully help others get the rest set up properly so the wire doesnt come loose. I bought this rest about a month ago and set it up without any instructions. I found that even with the black screw tightened well, after about a dozen arrows the wire would start to move close to the plunger and i would have to pull it out slightly for the arrow to fit. earlier this week i got some time so I took out the screws and realised there is supposed to be a small grub screw that holds the brass bushing in place which apparently fell out i assume so i got a regular screw that fit and used that.

firstly i adjusted the wire position to where i wanted it and tightened the black screw. then i loosened the brass bushing so the wire rotates easily when the arrow passes and then tightened the screw at the back to hold the brass bushing and stop it from rotating or falling out.

the end result should be that the wire rotates easily but the brass bushing doesnt move.

I have since shot about 300 arrows over the last few days since the adjustment and the rest is still in the same position i set it and now i am much happier with it.

Love this rest Review by christopher campbell

With no Instructions and novice to setting up my own equipment it took a while and some googleing. When you receive this rest you get a diagram describing where screws and components go, there is no legend to tell you just alpha numerical designations. but you can adjust the rest with two screws not one, loosen the one on the brass spacer (it's on the side), then loosen the main black screw this will loosen the rest wire, from here i got the rest wire near perfect you can adjust the rest height and the distance, tighten the black screw back down this will set the rest wire, there is a small grub nut on the back side that will allow for fine adjustments to rest width.

unlike most I have had no problems with set screws stripping, or coming lose, I really do recommend this rest to someone who just wants this style and doesn't want to spend a lot.

Worked well untill the screws came out Review by Joe B

As noted by a previous reviewer, the rest workd great until the screws loosend and fell out. After putting them back in the wire was loose. The brass bushing also fell out. I like the way it held the arrow on without slipping. No instructions which would be a bonus for a novice

Don't buy Review by PVMP

Don't be fooled by the low price for this wrap around arrow rest. It's poorly designed and constructed. The brass hold down bushing comes loose and falls out. The rest wire is too shaky to be useful. Bought 3 of these for our club. Bottom line, look elsewhere for your arrow rest.

Not very durable Review by CM

adjustments are finicky. If you are using large arrows, there is a fair amount of sag in the rest wire.
I had to completely re-bend the wire to be able to tune it properly, and then when I was moving it from large to small arrows, the retainer screw stripped. If you tighten it enough to hold it, you will strip it. If you stop short of stripping the threads, it will not hold very secure.

Decent rest if you plan on using light arrows and setting it once and leaving it. Not a rest for moderate to heavy use.

Nice all around rest Review by Kevin Sellers

I am new to archery and shoot both indoors and outdoors as weather permits. As I only have one bow, I was looking for a rest that I could easily adjust and tune for the difference in the two arrows that I use. This rest is the perfect fit. It installs easily and adjustments are just as easy. Quality parts and a silent mechanism for a great price.
