My first plunger Review by MBLion

This is my first plunger and it works very well. It is easy to adjust and it comes with 2 extra springs and all the tools needed to tweak it.

I got the silver one and it looks really good on a Cartel Fantom riser.

Admittedly though, I think it's a bit too pricey. That is my only complaint.

super smooth action Review by Vik Chandel

Just like anything else from this manufacturer, this plunger is fantastic. I use Bieter as well which is also fantastic but not any better and it costs about 3 times as much. The DX plunging is super smooth and overall quality is superb. Does not come with any instructions but it is very simple to setup. Plus at this price, I am not going to complain about lack of instructions since a child could set it up and shoot. What I like most about Shibuya as a company is that they make top quality products and offer them at a very reasonable price. Their stabilizer rods for example, are better than competition and cost a third. Same goes for their RC520 sight and their arrow rest which are equivalent or better than other manufactures who charge twice as much. How do these other manufactures get away with charging over $500 for a stab Rod setup? Because they think the consumer does not know any better, and for a large part they are right. Stab rods are no rocket science. I have used rods form both 3 different manufacturers so I speak out of experience although I do realize its a personal thing.
The quality from Shibuya across their entire product range is first class Japanese and at a reasonable price. Most people buy equipment based on what the Olympic level archers are using. They do not realize that these archers don't pay for that equipment. It is given to them by the manufacturer for marketing and the cost is shifted to the real consumer, us. The devil is in the detail, not hype. Yes I am a fan boy but I pay out of my pocket to buy equipment so I am entitled. Now I use everything Shibuya.

Tough little bugger! Review by Kyle Olson

My bow was knocked off the rack and landed on concrete floor. Bent the stabilizer stub and bent the plunger about 45%!!!!. The bow was trunk backwards when it quit rattling on the floor. The plunger work as smooth as ever!!!! I had a shoot the next day and didn't want to take the time to setup a new one. Got 2 new ones coming but I think I'll leave this one in until the new ones get here. It's got my vote!

Clean and smooth Review by Shawn Bryan

Once I received this product I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the machining and how clean the product was upon arrival. I installed this on my Hoyt Gamemaster II (my hunting setup) and with minimal adjustment was shooting much better then I had with my AAE and I had also noticed the spring was very good quality. I'll soon be purchasing another for my Win & Win comp bow.

Very smooth, easy to operate Review by cadguy

I just upgraded to this plunger and was amazed at the smooth action on the spring compared to my old one. I am slowly increasing poundage and this will help with the tuning that will be required. The instructions were okay but since you have the choice to use the gold-tip or teflon-tip, it would have been nice if they described how to swap out the pin. Yes, info available on YouTube and the web, but when it's right in front of you.

This is really the first plunger I've ever used. I can say honestly I have no complaints, but I've also used their sights as well. All their products are well-designed. Though I've never used a Beiter, I'd say it was on par.

Nice plunger Review by Hans Paal

ThIs was my first plunger, and it works well. I thought it was very easy to set up and use, and only had to do a little adjustment to get it to work nice. I would recommend using the ceramic tip for the carbons, based on some advice I received from others, and it seemed to glide better than with the metal tip.

There are two spare springs and one ceramic tip that go with the plunger . The two springs are light and heavy as far as I can tell and the one that comes installed is medium. Some better directions on set up would have been nice but there are good sources on the Internet to find out how to use it.

The one thing that gets me is how can such small pieces of hardware cost so much. I know there is some serious precision that goes with these devices but it seems an extreme price tag. Having said that I did feel it improved my shooting and it is built to last.

I wish there was more instructions to this plunger and/or YouTube instructions. I accidentally lost a set screw. I called Lancaster and a replacement set screw seems difficult to get. I found a set screw for this plunger at a hobby shop for R/C cars. Dubro part #2168 3mm x3 Socket Set Screw. WWW. Dubro.com. I hope this helps if you lose the set screw like I did.

While I'm not yet an experienced bow tuner, this seems to be a precision machined product. It's made of good grade metal and to good tolerance. My only gripe is that every few arrows I need to tighten it back into my riser, but I believe that's due to eroding threads on the poorer quality of the metal in my Cartel Fantom riser.

Worth every penny Review by williamskg6

This plunger is a great value and is very high quality. I liked the first one I bought so much that rather than buying a less expensive plunger for my kid, I got her one of these instead. They're very well made and very smooth in use. They don't have index markings or click-adjusting, but they are very simple and durable. Once it's set, you can just forget about it - it just works. You can spend more, but I'm not sure I can see why you would. I can definitely say that if you're considering a less expensive plunger, you'll wish you bought one of these instead.

This plunger is quick to setup and has extra springs for those who want to change their spring tension. Not much more to say about a plunger other than it does everything you'd want for a plunger. Being able to choose colors is nice also for those who want to match equipment.

I have been using this plunger for 6 months, plenty of time for testing. I can honestly say that you need not look any further than this plunger. It is easy to install and tune, ultra smooth and once set, forget it. I took no more than 15min to tune my arrows (bare shafting) to get the arrows grouping together, and I can say that I have not had to make any adjustments since. My shooting preference is 3D and Field, I love it!! do yourselves a favor and get one.

I've been upping my poundage a lot and this plunger has accommodated every change.

the three spring sizes that come with it really cover a large spectrum of stiffnesses, and the colors are great. shibuya coordinates all the colors, so all my blue shibuya equipment look perfect.
