Nice features - poorly executed Review by David

Bought the .019 kit and a .029 add-on for flexibility, this being my first foray into larger fiber optic apertures. I’ve gotta say I was not happy with the product. The .019 was way too small/dark for indoor lighting, and for some reason the .029 fiber kept falling out of the lens as if the hole was too big. Worse, it fell out 3 ends into my indoor national qualifier and I had to scramble to cut a replacement fiber between ends. The fiber quality is poor. The replacement fibers I bough on Amazon were way brighter, but still fell out of the lens. Ended up returning both items.

I own two of these for my bows. Once fine tuned, I'm hitting nothing but center X's out to 90 meters. Since I don't shoot competitive archery, I Jerry rigged fiber optic lighting on both sights and works like a charm during the brightest part of the day or the pitch black of night. Great product!!!

Great recurve scope! Review by Daniel A.

I bought the no-drill version to use on my Sure-Loc Quest-X this January for my first target season as an Olympic recurve to replace the Beiter aperture I had been using previously. I haven't had any problems at all with this sight. I have used both the blue and orange dots (currently orange 1.5 mm) and have had no issues lining the dot up with the target. Getting the dot in the very center of the lens is not terribly easy, but using the aligning circles included, it is possible with patience. I have even started using the Quest-X and the Flex on my Bear compound with great results. Overall, I think this is a great aperture for intermediate-advanced recurve archers!

Well made Review by Case

The aperture is well made with quite a few options. I like the larger sight view over my standard Shibuya aperture. Being able to have multiple reducer rings is nice. I had ordered the .029 fiber, but it is still pretty tiny. I use the orange fiber with the pin sight which makes it easier to see then with the lens. I had bent the fiber when trying to mount in the lens and Shrewd sent extra fibers.

poor aperture for the price Review by mat

I bought two of these to go with my two bows based on the "hype". Big mistake. I bought the option of the drilled lens and with the 0.029 fiber. I tried it in both high and low light and with all hood configurations and I could not see the fiber at all. The fiber used is extremely poor quality. I have ended up returning one and forced to keep the other. They look nice but are not functional.
