Wilde Fail Review by Slim

Having always used trophy taker rests, when I saw this and it adjustable slide for torque tuning I bought it right away.
What I like: The bushing in the slide is a great idea and keeps rest looking like new.

What I dont like. First thing I noticed was that there were 3 different size adjustment screws. That was okay until every one of them rounded out because they are made of the softest metal I have ever come across. Even the mounting bolt rounded out! So I replaced them with good quality screws.

Now when you look at a Trophy Taker you will see that everywhere 2 pieces come together the keys are beveled to make everything have zero play when tightened down. Not so with this! Shrewed squre cut everything to loose tolerences. The result? Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. I can litterally push the launcher arm back and forth.

Conclusion: this was a promising idea ruined by poor design, poor materials, and poor tolerences. No wonder you dont see Reo shooting this! Its an overpriced piece of garbage that looks really good. My advice: Get the real thing, get a Trophy Taker.
