- Good case, pros & cons Review by Steve T
-
Price Value Quality Let me start off by saying I am happy with the case as a whole. I shoot a Mathews Heli-M with a Trijicon Accupin sight, a Mathews T7 quiver and a Axion 6" stabilizer.
With that being said here are the pros:
The case is light weight.
The handle and clasps are strong and well built.
There is ample padding around the inside parameter of the case.
The inside fit and finish is really nice.
There is enough room for my stabilizer to stay affixed to my bow inside the case.
There are rugged extrusions around the outside of the case which protect the aluminum closure seam.
The cons:
The case will not close when my quiver is attached to my bow.
There is a lot of unusable space which could be used for either stacking arrows or housing extra gear.
It would be nice if there were a removable Velcro compartment for field points, a release and or a tool or two.
The foam padding is rather rigid in a mannor which does not allow for a custom fit.
There is not a rubber seal around the closing seam which allows for liquid penetration and for metal to come into contact with the bow when bow is being inserted.
I would like to have a thin layer of egg crate foam to lay over the bow as to better seperate my gear.
