not good enough Review by eagle eyes

I have use this for about 4 months and my main problem is that it doesn't have enough space for everything, I have to carry an extra backpack with my quiver, sight, v-bar and side rods, if you don't want to scratch your limbs better wrap them up, also it kind of broke because of the plunger sticking out, still overall is well constructed but they need to make it better fiting for an Olympic bow.

Not for an oly Review by Christopher L Foley

While they put a lot of effort into good padding they neglected a lot in this design. First you can't fit an only riser in here with a plunger, the plunger sticks up out of the case a good inch. There is no room for a sight extension, v-bar or side bars. The cavity next to the limb cut out is just large enough to allow your glove or finger tab to bounce around with any field tools you take to the range and the limb cutout only allows both limbs to rub against each other. The long stab cutout is only wide enough for the stab and weight so forget about using a doinker. All in all I am going to remove the entire inside of the case and build my own cutouts to actually hold ALL my equipment safely.

nice try..... Review by m w

Yes, the case appears nice in the photos but isn't so great in real life. The padding and pocket sizes inside are good for my traditional takedown recurve bow and dozen arrows and protects them well. But the hardware on the case is pretty flimsy and I don't expect it to hold up too long. One of my main zipper tabs broke off the third time I took it to a range with a pretty light pull. The shoulder strap is thin with really cheap attachment hardware that is located in awkward places. I keep trying but can't seem to find a comfortable way to carry this case with the shoulder strap. When all the way open (not 180deg due to retention straps on the side,) the weight of the upper half holding the arrows tips the whole case backwards so that is a bit annoying. Also, the location of the strap attachment points make it easy for the strap to get in the way of the case opening. Seems like it could be a pretty nice case with a few improvements.

an excellent choice for an Oly rig Review by Todd

I shoot a high end Oly rig and this case works perfectly protecting all my gear. There's plenty of room for a long riser. There's plenty of room for long limbs in their protective socks. There's plenty of room for all 3 of my very long stabs my stabs, and there's plenty of room for all my accessories. All my gear is very well protected and the case case is not bulky.

guess they meant well but fall short of practicality & functionality Review by dead eye razor

If you put limbsavers on your limbs, they will not fit in the limb slots. I have a win/sf carbon sight wich does not fit inside the case where majority of the padding is. Needs a secure padded pocket specifically for the apeture. If you use a stabilizer longer than 30" it won't fit in the case. There's no place to put your side bars (I hope they didn't expect us to put them in those flimsy outer pockets!). The shoulder strap is offset so when the case hangs off your shoulder it does so at an awkward angle. Uncomfortable. Get the hoyt formula backpack. Its well worth it

I wasted my money Review by Dwight Gowens

The SKB case looks great, and I’m sure it will work fine for a Traditional Break-down Recurve Bow. However...I bought it for a Olympic Recurve Bow. I tried to put the Riser in the case and it will not fit because of the Plunger sit about 1/2 inch above the edge of the cut out for the Riser, the cut out needs to be deeper. The cut out for the accessories is to small to put my Cartel 2000 sight into. The cut out needs to be at least 1 inch deeper and 1 inch longer. The cut out for the Stabilizer will only hold one Main Stabilizer not longer than 34 inch. There is no place to put V-Bars. There is only one cut out for the Limbs...So unless you want them scratched up you had better wrap at least one of the limbs. This is a total waste of money for an Olympic Recurve Bow!!!
