Product Description
Product Description
Here's the wildly popular Stan Shootoff with a copper handle. That means it's heavy, which some archers prefer in order to improve their control over the release. They get a better feel for the heavy release in their hands. This thumb-activated release includes the new training lock, which means archers can practice with it on their bows without releasing the string.

• Heavy Metal, made of brass
• Black nickel plated
• Features Trainer Lock, a patent pending innovation from Stanislawski that allows for easy and safe training. Learn proper shot execution and build confidence in your technique before ever shooting an arrow!
• Grooved handle with an aggressive sweep
• Features the MPT2 knob, the first multi-positional thumb trigger, adjustable for projection, tilt and angle
• Z-Tol - Tolerance Eliminating Technology
• Features a wide range of trigger travel and tension adjustment without having to change a spring
• silkpath™ Micro Adjustable Sears - The crispest and most accurate double sear system on the market
• ErgoFit™ Technology - All STAN releases have a similar fit and feel
• Designed to be used with a d-loop

Best release I've ever own period.
Also, I would like to help out one of your reviews. In regards to the misfire, Adjust trigger travel first. Then slowly tighten the tension adjustment. If you over adjust the tension it will cause misfires.

I purchased this release at an ASA event and I cant say enough good things about it. This is the only thumb button release that I have been able to shoot without anticipation. I actually shoot it more accurately than my Stan More X Black Ice hinge release. I'm pretty sure Stan could off a money back guarantee on this release and nobody would take them up on it. Its expensive but just like anything else in life. You get what you pay for. Its going to be my hunting release too.

Great Release Overall! However... Review by George John Wokaly

Overall the release is great.
Very Crisp
Very Clean
Very Easy to Adjust
Great Fit in Hand (as long as you get the right size)

About the only CONs on this release are

Price (over priced)
Thumb Knobs (for the price you should get the large and small knobs)
Locking Mechanics (see below)

If you use a Handheld Release Strap so you don't lose your release then this is NOT the release
for you.

*** It should be noted that without the wrist strap this release has performed flawlessly for over 500 shots. It is my primary tournament\league night release. now having stated that:

MAJOR WARNING***A simple piece of D-Loop String or thin Key Ring in that locking hole will prevent the trigger from properly locking causing a repeatable miss-fire. How do I know because I was able to repeat the miss-fire.

With Factory Setting for this release I was able to re-create the miss-fire with wrist strap:
4 out of 10 times at 60lbs draw
5 out of 5 at 70lbs (stopped at 5 because I gave myself a fat lip and got 2 switches from a almost full draw miss-fire)

Bow used for testing Mathews Bow Halon X @ 29.0 draw

I have the three finger heavy metal shoot off with trainer lock. Fits my hand like a glove. The extra weight really made the difference. I have been asked by several people why do I like the extra weigh ? It stabilizes your shot for tighter groups. Thinking of purchasing a second one for a back up.

I went to visit the showroom for the first time...
I was going to buy the new Tru Ball Blade release... because tru-ball has great marketing, a lot of pro shooters, Reo and Jesee shoothing shooting with tru-ball...
Where I live, Tru-Ball and Carter are probably the most used releases... we rarely see anything else... sometimes some Scott... but that's about it.

Myself, I tried nearly all Carter releases on the market... I had a few tru-ball releases... but something was missing...

When I tried this Stan 4 fingers release... I was really confused at first... it fit perfectly in my hand... The weight helps a lot... the release sits perfectly in my hand... everything else is also perfect... I recommend this release to everyone!!!
