- Good value and excellent riser Review by Chuck
Price Value Quality
I have been shooting bows for over 50 years and I tell you this is one of the finest bows I've ever shot. I've had the Galaxy riser as well as a set of Black Max limbs and have been totally impressed by the rig. Over the years I had shot other name brand as well as custom bows but none is so easy to tune,or made as well as this riser. The grip fits my hand just so and looks good doing it! The Techs were courteous, listened to my questions and answered them, and just helpful in assisting me. I would reccomend the Galaxy and Lancaster as the place to deal with for your archery needs.

- Great riser especially for shorter draw lengths Review by LoonWulf

Ive been shooting a galaxy riser with long carbon black max limbs set up by Lancaster for about a month. So far ive found it to be a quick handling, and consistent rig.
The fit and finish on the riser are excellent, under inspection i could find no flaws in either of mine. The color of mine was actually darker then what is pictured on the website, and matches very well with the brown phenolic overlays on the black max limbs. It would im sure look equally good with a set of wood limbs.
The fit of the limbs, balance of the bow, and smoothness of draw were all very good. I have used the previously mentioned carbon black max limbs, and a set of lighter win/win axiom plus limbs and both pulled and shot as smoothly as i could hope for.
My girlfriend has also shot this riserwith the lighter limb setup and found that it was faster and more stable then her Sage/warf using the same limbs. Draw weight was increased marginally as the Sage riser is 19"s. Her draw is about 26" and i think the slight reflex in the design gets her a bit more preload, better speed, while still allowing for a smooth draw and good stability in hand.
