- Excellent product for tinkerers Review by L_W

These little inserts make "Warfing" pretty much any riser a fairly painless affair. Ive used them twice now, once on a Samick Sage riser, and again on a Jennings Black Lightening. With the wood riser very accurate inletting can be done with nothing more then a routing table, Forstner bit and drill press. The metal risers require a bit more work, (tho a sharp Forstner bit can be used for most of it, but the bit will likely be dulled and need sharpening.) Files, and saws work well, as would a real milling machine.
These little plates are REALLY nice because of the adjustability, If you DO happen to miss a cut or hole location, you can usually adjust the insert to make your limbs line up properly.
The plates them selves are very consistent, and well machined, overall and excellent value.
