Excellent Bow Review by Jim

I bought a TradTech Titan III, 19" riser, along with the Black Max fiberglass limbs in 55lb weight and the long length, giving me a 64" bow. I shoot off the shelf.

This bow is super smooth! Hard to believe how smooth it is. Way smoother than my longbow. At some point I thought I'd splurge for the carbon limbs, but I've had this bow for over a year now and it shoots excellently with the fiberglass ones.

It's a little spendy, and I had to wait a long time to get mine because Lancaster wasn't happy with the machine work of the subcontractor that was milling these out. Well, it was worth the wait, because the fit and finish are absolutely excellent.

You won't go wrong with this one!

Just got to tell you I shot one arrow with a Magnus Buzzcut broadhead on the third day of archery deer here in Virginia (Quantico) with my TITAN III and collected my first deer of the season, when the first shot counts make it with a Tradtech product line. Score sheet Deer 0 -Titan 1. Gotta love it. Thanks Tradtech. (used GT traditional carbon arrows)

Easy to Tune Review by Dan

First let me thank Paul Vogel, and Jimmy Blackman...I've seen and shot in their presents and they know their stuff. Well as an average shooter I try to choose my equipment and most times it just another bow or arrow I was hoping would somehow fit me magically but, didn't happen. When I heard Mr. Vogel gleaming about the Titan III, and some of the video shots that Mr. Blackman has made. I thought, I have got to try this change up on equipment. I can say to you FINALLY, I'm estatic.

No stranger to ILF risers. This one is a gem. It has all the tweeks to tune to nearly any setup imaginable. Fills the bill for any style you need to set up for. My desire was a hunting bow for tree stand and tight spots like blinds, thick cover, etc. However, the smile I got from this riser was the ease with which I was able to tune to my hunting arrow setup and also 3D and indoor!!! I simply switch my limbs out and go do it. So, far I have not had to change anything else. Same shelf and side plate. I use two sets of limbs, the same as used on the Pinnacle II @ $179. each which I had purchased over the past couple years. The feel is great, accuracy well, the best I've had ever. Compared to the Dala, it just has more adjustability, and cost alot less, not to mention it comes with everything needed, not to mention custom setup at no additional cost. Thank you Tradtech!!!

Love it Review by IP

Heavy riser in the hand which is EXACTLY what I wanted. Easy to adjust. Can mount a variety of rests -- I use NAP Flipper Rest, no weights on the bow.

I wanted the longest heavy riser I could get without adding external weights. It fits the bill perfectly.

Easy to adjust for tiller and tuning.

No other riser with these features at this length and price point.

Get one -- you'll love it. I did, and I bought solely on specifications.

Titan III additional Review by jchase

My previous experience with a metal riser was one of cold hands in the (Texas) winter. Not so with the Titan III. The "diameter" of the grip where your thumb and first two fingers meet is small and the wooden grip is completely "wrap around" except for a narrow width at the front. Since a loose grasp by thumb and fingers can be taken, the actual metal contact area from a comfortable, normal grip is much less than a square inch.
You owe it to yourself to get one of these risers.

Titan III with Black Max Carbon/Wood limbs Review by jchase

Many thanks to John Wert for assisting me in the selection process and for setting up my new Titan III and limbs just as I wanted. This is a very smooth shooting setup, making for a very enjoyable bow. As another reviewer said, I wish I had made this purchase much earlier. It would have saved me a lot of money.
Thank you, Lancaster, for providing such good technical assistance through folks like John.

This is my first riser and it's awesome. Comfortable, feels nice. Good build quality, good hardware. and good finish. It's pretty spendy though I guess but if you're not gonna replace it then that's not a problem.
