I have been using this release for about 10 or so months and have been very satisfied with its performance and durability.
***test its holding strength before attempting to shoot with it. I used a square knotted piece of paracord to test mine. you can adjust the sensitivity quite a bit so be sure for yourself and those around you that you make sure its safe to use.

I have two of these tru-fire releases and I have never had a problem with either of them. The tension is easy to set and they seem to be well built. I'm sure you can get a better release for twice the money but I think these tru-fires are an excellent value.

This release is completely worthless. It is more hazardous than anything. The day after I got it i was trying to get more used to shooting a thumb release and in one day I had the jaws give way and ended up coming back and hitting myself in the face twice. After I fixed the release for the third time I had realized that the bolt that was responsible for keeping tension on the jaws was constantly coming loose. I am going to call Lancaster on the next business day and demand my money back for this product due to it's hazardous nature.
