On my second set, about to buy a third. Oh, and my kid has a set, too. Review by ClevelandBill

I am a fairly new recurve shooter, and new back to archery after a 30 year break. (I was a great compound shooter as a kid).

I put together my ILF bow with a Samick Avante riser and these SF Axiom Plus limbs. I don't see or hear from my fellow shooters how I am at all disadvantaged by these limbs. They shoot.

I am fairly good with mechanical things, and these limbs are made well. Not perfect. I have noticed an imperfection here or there with the finish, in both cases, a little bit of the "clear coat" forming a lump or a raised corner. I was able to gently file one down, and the other, a light touch of sandpaper took care of it. These were MINOR imperfections. One was near where the string passes around the end of the limb, and so I always check that area for smoothness.

I cannot pass judgment on the difference between these wood and glass limbs versus wood/glass/carbon or wood/carbon or foam/carbon. Like I said, these shoot, and I am scoring better and learning my form just fine.

I have quickly eaten through my first two sets of limbs, quickly regaining my archery muscles (I am fairly strong, and started at 28, jumped to 34, and am jumping to 40 next). My cost to buy these limbs, ALL OF THEM, is less than some of the carbon limbs my fellow archers in my club are shooting. So I have to say the quality/price ratio is OFF THE CHART. Great stuff, and thank you to SF for helping archers get off to an economical, yet high-quality, start in this sport.

Work perfectly with my Fantom riser. The dovetail screws came secured with blue Loctite. The graphics look nice in my opinion.

excellent and cheap ILF limbs Review by Benjamin

i bought a pair of these to go with my silver samick privilege riser, not only does it look good, but it has a smooth draw and a nice feeling

--actual review---
if i read correctly, these are fiberglass wood limbs, they have a glossy finish to them, and a nice draw, i get considerably better groupings using these than the local club bows (i always ask for the samick Polaris)

--why i bought these--
i decided to buy my own bow after getting tired of the slight variations in the local club bows (mostly samick polaris, a couple greatreees, half a dozen genesis compounds, etc)
i did some research and decided to go ILF, ive read great reviews across different fourms, and ultimately picked these over the samick privilege limbs (because they look better :P)

These limbs are excellent. Have purchased almost a dozen for club members. No problems so far.
They are holding up very well to extensive usage.

Great investment for beginners Review by Kate Bishop

These were my first limbs and provided me with an excellent transition into take-downs. You cannot beat the price/quality with these limbs. They aptly absorb vibrations and are sturdy enough to handle additional weight from an increased draw length or by twisting the string. The Axiom Plus limbs are perfect for anyone who wants a solid foundation before they upgrade.

The ideal beginner limbs Review by wallmjw

These limbs lack the polish of most others, they do not feature fancy graphics, and they do have some imperfections in the lamination, though these are minor and do not impact shooting. What you get with these limbs are smooth draw, smooth shot, and durability despite the low price. These limbs will serve every beginning archer until they need to upgrade.

Good starter limbs Review by ladyarcher

These were my first set of limbs, and even though I damaged them slightly trying to (stupidly) string my bow step-through style when I first got it, they were still consistent and gave me no problems for over a year. Very high quality given the unbeatable price!!

Good lower cost limb. Review by L_W

I have a set of these that i move back and forth between, a Galaxy riser and two new Warf risers (Sage, and Black Lightening). Ive found that these limbs are smooth and stack free at my 29+ draw length on all three risers 17", 19", 21". the finish is decent and smooth, the single piece of maple sandwiched between glass seems to be stable enough for my purposes, and works well enough for me.

I have 38# limbs (rated on 23" riser), Velocity on my 19" sage riser and minimum settings was about 175FPS with 414grn arrows (i havent weighted these limbs at my draw length so actual GPP would be a guess at best).

The vibration issues others have noted i have not had an issue with once properly tuned. Limbs are set at 1/4+ tiller and my brace height is between 8.25-8.5 on all three bows, and i do have string puffs installed on all.

My First Bow Limbs Review by Patrick SW

I bought these to go with my Cartel Fantom riser to create my first bow. They seem adequate and are at a great price point. They seem fairly quiet compared to a number of other bows I've seen at the range and I haven't noticed the vibration issue mentioned by PC.

Good for beginners but not recommended for intermediate shooters Review by PC

I got this pair of limbs to replace my old Axiom, but I am not very happy about this limbs.
First, they vibrate so much. After the followthrough, they vibrate for at least 3 seconds, even I put on the fancy limbsavers.
Second, they are not accurate. Due to the vibration, the arrows flies everywhere.

I personally think the old Axioms are better than the new ones.

But oh well, this is the cheapest limbs that you can get, what do you expect?

Excdellent product. Review by WA. ARCHER

This is a very good product for the money. I have been an archer for over 20 years and I have just come back to shooting competition and having limited resources for the purchase of new equipment I bought these limbs. They are more than I expected and the price was the best I could find. They came to me with all the hardware in excellent condition and they were streight with plenty of power for the draw weight I have been shooting. The are very smooth when coming to full draw and had an excellent fit to the riser I have been shooting.
