Won't hold you back, beginner or intermediate Review by Woo

I shot this limb for almost a year and enjoyed it. Using Premium limbs, carbon/wood (not a high end set up), I got into the 270-80s indoor 20 yards. I have a lot of respect for it. Other reviews mention a limit of 40# draw, which I knew nothing about but have been under that anyway. No probs with anything breaking. Like the grip--not slick! As far as complaints about no instructions, I got mine thru my archery range/store, and they set it up then showed me how I could make adjustments. For the money I think it's great, tho may have a tiny bit more vibration than a higher end riser--not noticeable for someone just getting used to archery equipment tho. Good place to start!

Scary Riser Review by Spritebottle

I've shot with this bow for about 4 months now and I am feeling uneasy with each draw. First of all, the tiller/weight and alignment adjustments are on a single slot, so individual adjustment is almost impossible. Secondly, upon inspection, the weight bolts can come off if the archer tries to adjust the weight. Thirdly, the bolt seems like it cannot hold a high weight and from what I've heard from coaches, high weight limbs can actually dismantle the entire adjustment assembly at full draw. In short, good limbs for beginners (who won't care much about adjustments or high weight), but terrible for intermediate/experts

Great beginner / intermediate riser! Review by Joshua Day

I have owned this now for three months and have had no trouble. Not only does this riser perform well, it looks cool too! You'll impress your friends with this for sure, as it looks and feels like a lot more expensive piece of equipment. There are a couple negative reviews on here regarding this riser, so I'm still keeping my eye out for trouble. But remember, this riser is not rated for shooting over 40#. In fact, once 36# feels comfortable for me, I may be in the market for something more expensive as I progress.

I bought this riser almost a year ago, and i havent had any problem with it, the finish is very good, the grip is great! is even better than my brother's TF APECS grip, the only thing is that it doesn´t come with instructions to set it up...

Overall i highly recommend this riser for intermediate archers, it has a great price!...

Nice riser but no instructions Review by cyclepath

I bought this riser to be different than my friends who all shoot hoyts. The first thing I noticed
is that the grip is much nicer than the hoyts and more repeatable. The finish is first class.
The only gripe I have is that it doesn't come with instructions on how to set it up. You are left
to your own accord with it. I would however buy one of these risers again and I may just to
set up a different poundage bow. I would recommend this riser to anyone looking for a good
beginner to intermediate riser.

An excellent choice for a quality riser Review by Peter

I've had this riser for about a month and I love it. Using Kaya Stallion long limbs it's really a smooth solid riser. No complaints at all. Limb adjustments are not so bad. If you can use an allen wrench and spanner wrench you should have no problems. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

If you're considering a first 25" olympic riser take a look at the Sf Premium. My son has a KAP T-Rex riser that's pretty nice... but the SF Premium is a big jump higher in material, fit and finish and adjustability.

Can't go wrong with this riser.

I bought this riser from my archery club and it is very solid. The stock grip is very comfortable and is very balanced. It's quite a good riser for the price, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality riser for a good bargain.

I have had this 25 inch riser for 8 months and HIGHLY recommend it. Very comfortable and balanced. Have had zero problems so far. Have had a lot of compliments of this riser. It has helped me progress from a complete novice to an accomplished intermmediate target shooter.

don't buy Review by VictorianTR

In our archery club 2 people have (had) this riser. One of them broke the tiller bolt, which had to be replaced, the other one had cracks near the top limb insert. The riser feels really cheap and they do not last more than 6 months. I do not recommend them at all.

Beware of this riser Review by MPC

It looks like good value and as far as I was concerned it was - I shot with this riser for six months and I started noticing things loosening off around the tiller bolts. (NOTE: all of the other SF parts had already fallen apart such as the Stabilizers, Sight, rest).

Then finally tonight I was shooting and I heard a rattle - upon investigation of the bow I noticed the tiller bolt was loose. Just as I was de-stringing the bow the tiller cap popped off as the tiller bold SHEARED. If this had happened at full draw I could have been seriously hurt considering at my draw length I am drawing 42#.

Needless to say I will be going with a HOYT GMX riser. When it comes to archery my recommendation is to spend the money and get quality equipment.

On and additional note a fellow archer at the club had the same thing happen to her bow.

Had this bow for about 6 months now, and it's carried me through quite a bit of development. You get a lot of value for the price point, and this is a riser that can easily carry you all the way to your first tournament win -- it did for me!
