- Fair value, crappy finish, Made in China Review by Pat
-
Price Value Quality It is ok for the price you pay, but the finish is crappy. Mine came yesterday and the surface paint is chipped in 4 places, 1 is very visible. Perhaps just cosmetics but when buying something new, at least it should be decent. Buyer beware, made in China!

- Great for intermediate archers Review by Wes K.

Quality Price Value I'm on my first set of recurve limbs and these do exactly what I need. The draw is very smooth, fit is excellent on my Hoyt Horizon Pro 25" riser. These are wonderful for developing my form before purchasing more expensive limbs once my shooting technique is more consistent and reliable. These limbs get a lot of use and have held up great so far. Highly recommended.

- Do not fit into Samick Master Review by Juzz
-
Price Value Quality Just like the last reviewer: great limbs, but the dovetail jams in the riser's limb pocket. Removal is difficult (2 people required) and results in paint damage to a very nice Samick Master riser (which holds two pairs of W&W limbs perfectly).
On this basis not recommended.

- Excellent Limbs! Review by Horizion
-
Value Quality Price I would advise these limbs to anybody! I have broken many records with them, and I am on my way to nationals! these limbs are very smooth, accurate and bring tight groups. I have had NO problems with the ILF and they attach smoothly to all of our risers. I would highly advise for you purchase these limbs.

- Beginner limbs Review by JP

Quality Price Value These are my first pair of limbs. It does what I need them to do. One of the bushing bolts was loose, easily fixed. I had to switch the springs between the limbs, so they make that satisfying click (I lucked out compared to the first poster). I also sanded some of the sharp edges a bit and the pin as well so it wouldn't gouge my limb pockets. Less than 10 minutes work.
They shoot well. I've damaged a few fletches and nocks because of the tight groupings I get.(Posted on 9/28/12)
- Very good limbs Review by tigersdad

Price Value Quality I bought these due to loaning my Earl Hoyt SKY limbs to a fellow going to the 2nd Oly. trials for 2012. I was looking for an inexpensive set of limbs that I might later paint for hunting. Wow, did I enjoy these limbs - very smooth and non stacking at my 29 1/2 inch draw. Combined with my Inno riser, I recently shot a 286 indoors and would say, these SF wood limbs are about on par with my old SKY limbs - not going to say as good but almost so. Only mistake I made was in not ensuring the limb bushing bolts were tight - ended up shooting off one - so, get some, tighten the bolts and shoot "x's".

- Limbs themselves are good, ILF hardware is junk Review by jburk
-
Quality Price Value Pros: these limbs draw smoothly and seem to shoot well - I'm able to shoot tight groups with a set of these at 26#. (bought these for injury recovery and lightweight form practice). Weight as marked; they show 25# @ 28" on my draw board with the bolts all the way out on my W&W riser.
Cons: I'm giving these a 1-star because the ILF hardware on them is absolute junk. When I received them, I ended up exchanging them after a week as a warranty issue, and LAS's excellent customer service had a second set in my hands in a few days. Unfortunately, the second set had exactly the same set of issues. Other comments I've read on these limbs didn't mention the ILF h/w, so perhaps LAS just has a bad batch in their warehouse at the moment
Tried them on 2 different risers; a Hoyt Helix and a W&W Inno Carbon. I'm discounting the "some manufacturer's risers don't fit some manu's limbs" argument, since SF limbs are supposedly made by W&W, and these limbs fit both risers equally poorly.
ILF h/w issues on both sets of limbs (original and warranty replacements):
* The dovetail itself has such a sharp edge (there's no shoulder to it, it just flares out to a sharp edge) that it that it's chewing up my limb pocket. Every time I removed them I got a small amount of glitter, which used to be part of the limb pocket. Now the pockets have deep scratches in them. Not happy. (The replacement set of limbs only had this problem on the lower limb, the upper dovetail actually had a decent shoulder on it.)
* The pins in the upper and lower limbs are significantly different in height and profile, but both end in a point sharp enough that they're scratching grooves in the limb pockets as well. The pin on the upper limb shows almost twice as much height above the dovetail as the lower.
* The springs are so heavy that it's almost impossible to depress the pin into the dovetail with my thumb. Add this to the sharp point on the pin, and you can see why they're scratching up the pocket. Combine this also with the higher upper pin, and it causes the upper limb to stick in both my risers, and I often had to remove the cap, spring, and pin on the upper ILF h/w to remove the upper limb.
I wanted to return the original set as well and go with another product, but LAS is currently out of stock on 24#-28# ILF limbs that cost less than $300, with no firm delivery dates in sight. So I'm keeping them (they do shoot decently), and I'm purchasing a set of the Tradtech ILF h/w to replace the ones from the manufacturer, which makes these limbs $20 more expensive.
